To get the most of this latch hook kit - be sure to pick the best photo using the guides below. Remember the smaller the canvas base you choose the less detail you will get in your finshed latch hook kit.

For best results, If you are wanting to submit a photo to convert into a latch hook kit then the mimimum size reccomended wpuld be 80c x 80cm. Sizes smaller than this are better for logos or simple designs.

Due to the nature of the Latch Hook Kits, If you are after a design that has alot of detail, it is recomended to choose a kit size that is over 80cm x 80cm. The smaller kits work well with cartoon like designs or logos. Below are a rough sample of the difference between large and small kits.

  • Choose an image that is in focus, has a good range of contrast.

  • Smaller canvases under 80cm are best used for simple designs and logos

  • Larger canvases allow for more detail in your design.

I sent in 2 images I had made with the same colours - but the colours of the two kits are very different. They say they will consult about the artwork before going to production - and they don’t.

Hi there - Sorry to hear that the colours were not a complete match. Due to the nature of converting artwork to a latch hook design, at times the colours wont match the yarn colours 100%. If you send as a PM we are happy to discuss further and try and come to a solution.
